Tim de Booys, new PHD-student

As of 1 September 2009 Tim de Booys (Bussum, 1987) has started his PhD research at the Centre for the Study of European Contract Law.  He read law at the University of Amsterdam (LLB 2008 cum laude; LLM in Private Law 2009 cum laude). During his studies he worked as a research assistant at CSECL and as a paralegal / intern at law firms in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Brussels.  At the University of Amsterdam he was chair of the Faculty Student Council and was member of several committees of the Faculty of Law.

Tim's research will be in the field of the theoretical foundations of European private law.
