This term (second term 2009-2010) Martijn Hesselink is professeur invité at the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris I).

CSECL and IVIR obtain EU funding for research on digital content services for consumers

The Centre for the Study of European Contract Law (CSECL) and the Institute for Information Law (IVIR) have won a European tender for a joint research project concerning ‘the legal framework for digital content services for consumers'.

New researchers

Prof. dr. Aukje van Hoek

As of 1 January 2010 dr. A.A.H. van Hoek has been appointed Professor of Private International Law and Civil Procedure at the University of Amsterdam's Faculty of Law (FdR).

Mr. Habtamu Alemayehu

As of 1 january 2010 Habtamu Alemayehu is a researcher at the csecl for the period of 1 year.
