The Bonger Institute is a multidiscipline research group within the Faculty of Law of the University of Amsterdam.

Research focusses on lifestyle, crime and criminalisation processes. More specific themes are: drug use, drug dealing, homelessness, prostitution and multiculturality.
Our research includes short term studies as well as long term projects like annual drug use monitors (Antenna and Trendwatch).

The Institute also hosts the secretariat of the European Society of Social Drug Research (ESSD).
