Universitair profiel en prestatieafspraken

Eind 2011 hebben de Staatssecretaris van OCW en de VSNU een hoofdlijnenakkoord gesloten. De afgelopen periode heeft de UvA een universitair profiel opgesteld en een voorstel tot prestatieafspraken ontwikkeld.

Three UvA professors appointed members of KNAW

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) has appointed three professors from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) as members of the Academy. These UvA professors are Carsten de Dreu, André Nollkaemper and Eric Opdam.

De Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen heeft drie hoogleraren van de Universiteit van Amsterdam gekozen tot lid. Het gaat om Carsten de Dreu, André Nollkaemper en Eric Opdam.

The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) has accepted nine proposals from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) as part of the Research Talent subsidy programme of the NWO Division of Social Sciences (MaGW).

Drie UvA-studenten naar China voor Summer School

Drie excellente studenten van de Universiteit van Amsterdam zijn uitgekozen om komende zomer deel te nemen aan de Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School. Doel van deze summer school is om studenten kennis te laten maken met Nederlandse bedrijven en instellingen die gevestigd zijn in China.

Dhr. mr. G. Mettraux is benoemd tot hoogleraar Internationaal strafrecht, i.h.b. internationaal strafprocesrecht, aan de Faculteit der Rechtsgeleerdheid.

In 2011 Prof. Aukje van Hoek was lead researcher of the study team on the legal aspects of the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services in the European Union (contract VC/2011/0096).

Dr W. Breemhaar and Dr S. Perrick

On 1 January, Dr W. Breemhaar (1951) and Dr S. Perrick (1949) were named Professors in the Notarial Law Special Subjects special chair in the Faculty of Law at the University of Amsterdam.
