A Meeting Point in Law and Language

Description

The Amsterdam Circle for Law & Language (ACLL) was founded in 2007. Its objective is to further the emerging international and interdisciplinary field of law and language.

For this purpose it has created a platform and a meeting point for the exchange of ideas concerning the methodological and social relations between law and language. 

The ACLL organizes conferences and frequent lectures in the fields of, inter alia, law and multilingualism, legal interpretation, legal argumentation theory, semiotics and forensic linguistics.
