The International Rule of Law

The research programme on the International Rule of Law addresses selected challenges posed by the attempts of states and international institutions to further develop the international rule of law.

The Role of Law in Armed Conflict and Peace Operations

This programme has as its primary aim the investigation of the increasing and changing nature of the role that law plays in relation to situations of armed conflict and a wide variety of peace operations, including post-conflict transitional situations.
